About Us

The three of us Jeremy, Karen and Thomas (front from left to right in the picture) grew up together as best friends in North Texas and went to school in the artsy city of Denton.

Karen St. John

Karen is married to Jeremy and they have six kids together. Karen has a BBA in Business Computer Information Systems and a Masters in Information Technology (school of Business) from the University of North Texas where she graduated at the top of her class. She has taught undergraduate classes in Information Systems and E-commerce and was an instructor for the U.S. Treasury Department's Computer Audit Specialist training program (for approximately 6 years). She is currently an instructor of Business Analytics at Texas A&M University - Commerce, before that an adjunct professor of Computer Science teaching Java and C++.

Thomas Seidel

Thomas has a degree in Finance from the University of Texas at Arlington and works as a sales/project manager in the manufacturing industry. Yeti Coolers was a major client for which Thomas helped with design and manufacturing contracts. This was during the early, high-growth, entrepreneurial stage of Yeti's history. As the owner of  Rhineland Arms Thomas also invented the AR-57 (manufactured by another company) for which Guns & Ammo magazine wrote "Thomas is a genius". See some of Thomas's other projects at www.TroupSystems.com

Jeremy St. John

Dr. Jeremy St. John is an Assistant Professor of Business Analytics at Texas A&M University - Commerce. His PhD is in Business Computer Information Systems from the University of North Texas. Jeremy was an instructor for the U.S. Treasury Department's Computer Audit Specialist training program (for approximately 6 years), has taught at three of the four big university systems in Texas and has served as an interim department head. The Critter Cutter Kickstarter project was part of an ethnographic study by Jeremy on Crowdfunding (an article is currently in review with a top A* peer-reviewed journal).
